This course is for you if:

  • You want to learn some skills and techniques to improve your mental health
  • You're stressed, depressed, anxious or burnt out
  • You're curious to learn more about what meditation and mindfulness are
  • You're sceptical of meditation being a 'real' way to help your mental wellbeing
  • You want to start meditating but don't know where to start

I'm biased, but I think there is truly something for everyone in this course!

Learn to meditate

This course contains 4 different types of meditation to get you started: Breath, Mindfulness, Visualisation and Loving Kindness. We'll go into detail about what these techniques are, ways to practise them including in a 'stealthy' way for your day-to-day life, as well as doing guided meditations together in the course itself.

Understand your mind

This course comes with a PDF download Meditation Journal, designed to help you write reflections on your meditation experiences as you go through the course. Reflecting and journalling is a great way to help you better understand your own mind - how you tend to think and respond to things, so that you can see any behaviours or thoughts that are not helping you, and take measures to change them.

Understand and experience the benefits of meditation

There are a huge number of benefits to having a regular meditation practice - benefits to our bodies, our minds and also to other people. This course looks into these and also explains some of the science behind why meditation can bring about these benefits.
