Mindfully Hannah aims to provide wellbeing resources specifically designed using a unique combination of Hannah's professional experience as a Women's Health Doctor, her personal experience of burnout, and her qualification as a Meditation Teacher.

Hannah has always felt passionate about working to help women through their varying stages of life, and feels there is so much more that can be done outside the roles of conventional NHS healthcare. This has led her to create Mindfully Hannah as a way to bring holisitic wellbeing to women and help them develop the skills of resilience to manage life's challenges, through meditation and mindfulness.

Hi, I’m Hannah

I’m a 31 year old who lives in London with my Dutch husband and our guinea pig, Bailey. I’m an avid knitter, die-hard Harry Potter lover, F1 fan and love to read, travel, take long walks in nature and do a bit of birdwatching too (albeit on a very amateur level!).

In early 2024, through a multitude of different factors, I reached a point of total burnout, resulting in feelings of extreme anxiety, low mood, and hopelessness about where my future lay. With a bit of CBT and career coaching, I took the leap of leaving my NHS job behind to pursue a different path. And just like that, Mindfully Hannah was created! The idea started as a vague concept: some sort of space (physical or virtual) in which women struggling with their mental health during particular phases of life or through periods of physical illness, could find resources to help.

I have such a unique set of skills to offer women: the knowledge that my professional experience means I’ve seen and managed situations they may be going through, and I understand the NHS system in which they receive their care, but also the personal experience of struggling with my own mental health and navigating my way through that, and being a woman myself.

Mindfulness and Meditation were skills I learned during my low point, and they were invaluable in making me the person I am today, no longer crippled with anxiety or hopelessness but daring to dream and taking the leap to qualify as a Meditation Teacher with the British School of Meditation. I can't wait to share with others the benefits of meditation, and my 'Basics' course is only the start!
